All this time, if you think of Porsche, you will not see it as a wagon, but as a supercar, sports car and track beast. We are not saying there would be something wrong with the five-door car that a creation of a German automaker. In fact, many Porsche lovers would be very welcome and look forward to this product. This will be the first wagon ever offered by the German manufacturer. Unfortunately, we will not get it for a few years, possibly up to 2018. But do not worry; this car is really worth the wait.

Auto enthusiasts will see the Porsche Panamera Wagon 2017 in the form of a four-door car at the Paris Motor Show in September and will be followed by a sedan that will be sold here sometime in 2017 while the wagon may be sold a year or more after that. However, do not expect to see a five-door wagon model in US showrooms until 2018 at the earliest – as has been stated by Zellmer that no definite date set for its debut but he said it will be in this decade. According to Zellmer, a five-seat Panamera is still under examination because of a demand for US dealers. The current layout seat, 2+2, is one of the factors why they lost sales of the Panamera in the competition. The five-seat configuration has been much sought after by dealers in the US who complain that they lose their Panamera buyers to other brands because of the lack of a fifth seat. If you are happy with this news or if you really want to sit behind the wheel of a Porsche but requires flexibility and cargo capacity, you may feel frustrated at the sight of the Porsche Panamera wagon in Europe next year. But at least you will have enough time to save money for your down payment. Stay tuned for pricing and launching date.
